What is SMT PCB Assembly?


It is a method of mounting electrical components directly on the surface of a printed circuit board. It allows components to be mounted directly on a surface mount PCB. The technology helps to miniaturize components, allowing surface mount technology to package more and more electronic components in a small space. The machinery and equipment used in the SMT PCB assembly process include: automatic printing machine, solder paste inspection machine, high-speed placement machine, reflow oven machine, AOL optical inspection machine, etc.

Unlike traditional through-hole technology, SMT processing offers lower manufacturing costs, higher component density, and more direct and faster automation.

5. Reflow, melt the solder paste, and melt the solder paste firmly through the high temperature of the reflow furnace.

6. Cleaning to remove harmful residual substances on the PCB panel.
