What is a DC Motor Controller Board?
A DC motor controller board is a device that can control the position, speed or torque of a DC motor. There are many control board to choose from, from brushed and brushless to universal, all of which allow the operator to set the desired motor behavior through their mechanisms.
The torque curve of DC motors is inverse linear, which means that their torque decreases proportionally as the speed of the motor increases. This makes them easy to control with programmable motor controllers, as reducing their speed increases their torque and vice versa.
